Chai Latte Morning

Morning everyone,

A Chai latte craving is being satisfied this vey moment. Kids are off at school and I'm watching Awkward trying to remember all things I need to do today:

1. Sweep Mop

2. Wash Kids clothes

3. Edit Wedding photos

4. Clean and vacuum car (needs it desperately) 

So, I'm going to enjoy this moment a little longer before I have to really start my day! Happy Tuesday!

Hello November...three years later

It's a Monday evening:
I'm just thinking...what ever happened to that blog I started way back when? So, I search around and look it up and sign in and I'm amazed by all the sweet memories flooding back into me. My babes were so little, it's crazy to see them so small, while now their giant monsters invading and attacking everything in sight. just kidding... well kind of.

Lets update:
I worked in a church office and absolutely loved it. The people I would always be around made the job so worth it, conversing and listening to their stories, it was border line counselor. But, that's why I loved it. But, I had been there going on three years, and had come to the conclusion, I want to take control of my life for me and my family. My photography passion is growing and thriving and I really want to run with it and see what can become of it.

GOAL: To have a thriving photography business/studio and love it.

So, I am now back to my roots of being a stay at mom while working in my home and taking care of the ones I love, while studying the art of photography. I can honestly say, I am happy.

And the day has come...

Aralynnes 1st day of Preschool

 

 

I'm amazed at how fast these three years just flew before me. Preschool is upon us, and Lynnie is exctied more than ever. As I prepare her clothes and her snacks the night before I just think to myself "Oh my goodness, how odd is it going to be with me and Ayden all alone during the day?" Also, "How is Aralynne going to be okay without me there most of the day?" These are questions I find myself answering a week later ( today) and feeling great about our decision. First, its wonderful with Ayden be my side! He loves soaking up all my attention and we play one on one alot more than we used to. Second, Aralynne is loving school, says her teacher Mrs. Parish :) Yes, it can be a little tough in the mornings, but once she settles down and starts her day, she's just fine. When we pick her up at the end of the day she is thrilled to see baby brother looking through her window waiting for her to come out :) I know there will be tons of "1st's" coming ahead & can't wait to see what beautiful plan God has in store for us!

Dinner night in NYC

From the day we landed here in New York, I've soaked up so much about this magnificent city. It's alive and busy, the people are always moving. As congested as it is, there's always time for a nice peaceful dinner. Last night we had reservations at Carmine's in Times Square. It's an amazing Italian restaurant that serves family size platters of food that serves 3 - 4 people! We ordered stuffed mushrooms and chicken parmigiana = nonstop deliciousness! Omg I left with my belly totally stuffed! A must if you are in the area :) its morning now, & must get up, and get dressed for breakfast! Good day everyone! :)

Playful at the Park

This evening was full of running and playing as we stopped by the park for some exercise. Lynnie, friendly as always, made some new friends too! Ayden loved sliding down the slide over and over... And over :) As for me, I did a mile and a half! Yay me! I've fallen off the wagon & must find my way back soon! Here are some momentos from our evening ...
